Life before surgery was tough. I struggled to do even the simplest of tasks. I had gotten so big that I developed diabetes and that wasn’t something easy to control. I couldn’t do any activities with my kids without passing out from the pain that my knees gave me from all the weight I was carrying. I had to find out a solution to losing weight before one day the weight could kill me.

The process at first was very difficult because Dr. Syn recommended I lose a good amount of weight before surgery. So from the end of my first appointment to the actual date of surgery, I managed to lose 60lbs because I was scared of the complications that could occur during the procedure. After the procedure, I really didn’t struggle much. I ate the required amount of food and I stayed motivated to become the healthiest I’ve ever been in my life. In just a little over two months, I lost 80lbs. And I felt on top of the world.

Now a year and a half after my surgery, I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. I feel like a million bucks. Running and playing with my kids doesn’t present a problem for me anymore. Thank you Dr. Syn for giving me the life I deserve to live!!!
